Vintage Christian Dior Paris New York Beachwear Swimsuit,
size 12, most likely from the 1960’s. Colors are royal blue and black, has the appearance of sequins however blue details / dots are part of the material (not raised). It’s in great condition, still has the attached clear plastic protective liner in place (not an adhesive liner) so I believe it’s never been worn.
Approximate measurements are from pit to pit across chest unstretched is 13” and from top to bottom of crotch is 23” unstretched. Style is a Bandeau neckline and not traditional shoulder straps.
✨Although the tag states 12 it seems much smaller... in my opinion this suit would be best described as a size 4, 6 or possibly 8. Definitely an overall small. Women’s clothing sizes were much different back then so please take this into consideration. Wonderful authentic vintage garment to own/display even if not planning to wear.
💎 Style is 60035, it’s made of nylon and spandex, stretch is good (not “crunchy” or “brittle”) and it has an interesting Etiquette Syndicale made in Canada union label tag. Original
